Sustainable Gifts Workshop

Make practical, sustainable, and personalized handmade gifts for your friends, family, co-workers, clients, etc. For example, if your sister loves Bunnies, you can find a bunny design to print on a gift bag, or make a bunny applique out of pink velvet to sew to a towel or a gift bag. Select 3 of the following 5 projects.

PROJECTS

1)      Sew the edges of 4 linen napkins. Keep them plain or add a printed motif.

2)     Upcycle towels into “tiny towel” gift sets to encourage people to use them in place of paper towels. (bringing in your old towels is encouraged, but not required).

3)      Make linen drawstring gift bags. Keep them plain or print a motif or message on them.

4)      Embellish a Bib with appliques or printed images.

5)      Add an applique to an Organic Cotton Hand Towel.

       Ages 14+

     Location: Laura's Studio 1190 W James Ave St Paul, MN  55105

     Date: Wednesday July 31st

     Time: 6-8pm

     Cost: $45 includes materials for 3 projects
